“I see the world, feel the chill Which way to go, windowsill I see the words on a rocking horse of time I see the birds in the rain, Oh, dear dad, can you see me now? I am myself, like you somehow I’ll ride the wave where it takes me I’ll hold the pain, release me
Dear dad, can you see me now? I am myself like you somehow I’ll wait up in the dark for you to speak to me How I’ve opened up, release me Release me, release me dad, release me”
Psalm 119, an acrostic poem in the Bible based on the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
I have used these words as devotional material for the last 10 years, and want now to begin sharing them with you in song form, letter by letter. My plan is to record one letter for you each month. I am posting the music files and some artwork that can be listened to for free or purchased, starting with Aleph on March 1st, 2014. And Lord willing, I will complete the project in slightly less than two years time! I look forward to sharing this music with you, and thank you for listening.
