During a collaborative show of Drawings and Works on Paper at the Everett Mills Landing, Lawrence MA, February 14, 2026, two counterpoint bodies of work by visual artist Adrian Johnston opened in Suite 447 (hosted by KMOVstudios).
Love Language
Drawing/drawing can be a verb and a noun. The act connects points into lines, lines into compositions, and compositions into drawings. This installation of drawing media composes drawings into stories: nonverbal language exploring love as a verb. Figures half formed, abstract graphic shapes, lines and thought bubbles within an ecosystem, inviting us to connect dots in the ephemera, and to turn drawings back into drawing.

Under Construction
Monoliths both natural and constructed explore form in fixity as an accumulation of sediment and nostalgia through varied marks and mediums and color.
